Up in flames

The school is burning.
“Help!” Carly shouts.
That’s the only thing I can hear.
The fire and the heat kill all other sounds.
“Where are you?” I shout.
Luke was hurt when the school burned.
He ran inside to save Carly. So now he’s a hero.
